Symbolic of the deep love that Elvis had for Jesus? Of course.

On a side, He had a pretty tragic personal life, with people in his inner circle who cared little about him as a person but rather more about how much money he was making them. I think this is a common theme for many entertainers. They are viewed as a lucrative commodity rather than a human being. The fame comes at a price.
