So if there are no moral norms and no universally held truths then there is no way to form an individuals conscience properly. As adults, if we were instructed well as children the difference between what’s moral and right and what’s immoral and wrong, in a clear cut way, then it is assumed we would have well formed conscience which guide us in adulthood through to death. If this Pontificate of Life wants to teach that morals are full of grey areas then we are going to have adults in the future with poorly formed consciences. It’s like accepting that a diesel car can sometimes take unleaded petrol and still function properly. It will eventually fall apart.
It’s taken St JP2 decades to explain these truths and many many Popes before him. And now we are seeing it trashed in a heartbeat. The devil is out in force. Hold tight to your Faith.
