The only better death is in a bed, surrounded by your children, grandchildren, and great-grandchildren, all of them sad to see you go.
Especially if they are there due to your efforts to defend them in the past.
For all those men who died for the ashes of their fathers and the temples of their Gods, from William Wallace: Every man dies, not every man truly lives.
Amen. A life who has found his identity in God is a man who lives for others and dies for them as well.
Die to self every day and you too will truly live.
