As the Russians used to say under Communism: There is no truth in Pravda (Truth) and there is no news in Izvestia (News).

I’m glad Maher seems to be waking up to what is happening with the left in this country, but I still find him insufferable.
Glenn Greenwald, OTOH, is impressive. While I don’t see eye-to-eye with the man on several things, I believe he’s a professional with integrity, an actual journalist. He was ejected from The Intercept, which he helped found, because he objected to a tendentious editing of his work to make it conform to a leftist narrative.
Seeing men like Greenwald, Joe Rogan and Tim Pool (none of whom consider themselves right-wing) all calling out the left on
its hypocrisies and corruption— well, it gives me hope. I’m glad they’re out there.
Matt Taibbi, “Matt Walsh pranks the pants off America’s silliest intellectuals, and the sad thing is, it wasn’t hard at all. . . . Walsh is a ham and a satirist, a creature we never used to see on the political right decades ago. The verbose absurdity of modern leftist thought, coupled with the astonishing absence of a sense of humor in the landscape from whence the most extreme ideas come, has willed conservative comedy into being.” Seen at Instapundit.
I’m not convinced the USA is headed for a comedy – in literature a happy ending – or a tragedy – an unhappy ending.
