Democrats have consistently enacted policies and supported programs designed to constrict the supply of energy, whether from fossil fuel or from nuclear. We are now down to 92 operating nuclear power plants in the United States from 99. So-called renewables – solar wind – cannot make up the baseload electrical supply now misisng from the gird. Unlike nuclear’s capacity factor of 92%, theirs isn’t more than 30% since they are subject to the vagaries of weather (no sunlight, no solar power; no wind, no wind turbines turning). So the only makeup is CO2 emitting methane gas power plants (often called natural gas to give the pollution a “green” flavor). Now get everyone addicted the the methane pipeline and simply shut the cutoff valve when you want to get your own way. Voila! Control of the population. This goes well beyond gasoline price increases. This is alll about control. When govt controls the energy supply, then govt controls the people. Democrats have always been like this since Jane Fonda’s movie “The China Syndrome,” which was a pile unscientific fecal propaganda design to instill fear and to intimidate. The only way this will stop is the complete removal of the Democratic Party from the public life. It must be eradicated, root and branch.
And of course prices will soar for anything that is trucked— i.e., just about everything is about to be impossibly expensive.
This is going to get very ugly.
I’m very certain that what I’m contemplating is what THEY want.
