A group of 13 female martyrs who were purportedly slain in Caesaria in Palestine circa 303. Saint Theodosia was the mother of Saint Procopius who died in the same persecution. I find this fascinating as the most famous Theodosia was the wife of the Emperor Justinian in the sixth century. She and her husband were savaged by the historian Procopius in his over the top Secret History of their reign, after having praised them in other works which have come down to us.
