The suggestion of Senator Ted Cruz is another part of the puzzle: one guarded entrance to all schools and all exits equipped with automatic locking doors. Windows should be non-opening. Advertising that schools are gun free zones just tells maniacs where the happy hunting grounds are. This isn’t rocket science but sometimes common sense is rarer than rocket science.

Disgustingly waving tiny, bloody shirts:
Gun control nonsense is mainnly popular with Dem demagogues and affluent, white women and their beta boys that only vote demoncrat, anyhow..
Liberal logic. The 5,000,000+ NRA members, gun factories, the few real Republicans, and another 50,000,000 American gun owners are guilty here.

Ok, folks. There are a lot of ridiculous things being said about active shooters in schools, as usual. Any kid will open any outside door to anyone & does regularly in our building. They also prop outside doors open all the time. The front office does not regularly check IDs of people coming into the building. Technically, on paper, we have one main entry for safety purposes. In reality, it is a circus folks.
There is no way to be “proactive “ with an active shooter in the building. I have been in a real lockdown situation in a real school with a real SWAT team in the building going room to room searching for the perpetrators. I needed a gun. We were sitting ducks if someone came through that classroom door. And my students had disabilities so the situation was very complicated.
