Yesterday gas was 4.09 in Dwight, Illinois, up forty cents a gallon from two weeks ago. What are you seeing? I cannot fairly blame the war on the Puppetmasters, but I can blame them for reversing Trump policies that turned this country into a net gas exporter. I was predicting five buck a gallon gas by the Fourth. Now I think we will see it by April Fool’s day or sooner.

Dallas suburbs: In December of 2020 I paid $1.75 for regular unleaded. Yesterday I filled upnthe bride’s Camry for $3.19 per gallon.
Just six months ago I paid about $64 for an 18 pound bag of prescription dry food for our two feline overlords. Yesterday I ordered a bag of the same size and paid $92.

Yesterday, at the nearest zcostco here in SoCal, I paid $4.69 per gallon. Also, they, and, apparently all the Costcos i the county, were put of canned cat food. I also had to travel to 4 different groceries to find, of all things, egg noodles. Finally, our local 99 client Store has raised its price on big sodas ( I truly wish I could help my husband to drink iced tea or something other than fizzy swill) from 99 cents to $1.99. I think they will soon regret that, however, as our two local groceries are currently underselling them by a a penny to 75 cents a bottle.
Des Moines, ranges from $3.09- $3.59 for Super Unleaded up to 10% alcohol, depending on chain and location and ignoring the crazy outliers. (There’s one place that jumped to $3.49 for e-85.)
Gas is $3.79 a gallon in Northwest lower Michigan. At least it was yesterday when I filled up. It may be up today.
