A Lone

As you’re dying best be saying, pleading, maybe praying,

Something so you don’t end up alone.

In a final hour, something with the power,

Something that will bring you heaven home.

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Lord.

Remember who I am ?

Right now you’re all I’ve got.

Lord, I hope You give a damn.

Thinking on the choices,  everything I’ve done.

I could beg forgiveness, crying real hard.

But this is all I know, You’re the only one,

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Lord.

Lord, remember long ago,

Now I lay me down to sleep.

Jesus, Jesus, Jesus, Lord.

I am your long lost sheep.

Please consider becoming a volunteer at a nursing home near you.
Sit with them…the lonely, the dying.
Of course you begin building those relationships before their final hours.

That’s where you lead a group of residents in the Rosary one day week.

Thats where it starts…your relationship building.

Jesus in the final minutes..Amen.
God bless St. Faustina and the Divine Mercy chaplet…and Our Patron for a happy death..St. Joseph.

On a great note from today the unborn won one;

You are not alone Guy. If you are able to, sit inside a Church in front of the Exposition of the Blessed Sacrament. Pour your heart out to Him. For He knows are deepest thoughts and our deepest hurts and our deepest struggles. Prayers for you in your struggles at the moment.

Hello Guy
Your writing seems to go right over the heads of most. I’d rather tremble with uncertainty than expect a satisfactory sleep. Awe and terror are real and no one really knows til that time.

Philip
I don’t usually post because it is so easy to be misunderstood and/or to say something I might later regret.
I am sure you didn’t mean to deride Guy but please permit me to say something about him. Guy did start a rosary group and I’m one of the members – while we all qualify for senior retirement facilities, none of us are officially consigned to such (yet). As I write though, one of our group lies in a hospital awaiting cancer surgery. I don’t visit this website much so I don’t know how much Guy has mentioned about himself, but he has done yeoman’s work in front of abortion clinics and has been a strong voice fighting this evil in our country. Guy is one of the good guys.
Guy, I hope I’m not blowing your cover.

Paul Rubiola.

Thank you.
When i first read this post I had accidentally forgotten the recent passing of the beloved. It took Don’s post to realign my thoughts and then I realized what I had written wasn’t appropriate for Guy. I had made my suggestion to the viewers as a whole.
In 2000 my service to the lonely in nursing homes started via both Rosary and occupation.

My intention was to make a plea for tbem, the residents in the homes that are not receiving the extra PEACE that comes from Our Lady while gathered together in the homes.

Yes. Guy McClung has shared his faith with us. His passion for Christ is reflected in his posts.

If you notice, I immediately posted my apology when I remembered of Guy’s loss and God’s gain;

Inconsiderate on my end Guy.

I take no offense at your remarks.
A good friend would do what you did when realizing the gaffe. I’m sure the residents you and Guy serve are extremely blessed and forever grateful for your patience, faith and love in seeing Christ in each of them.

Have a blessed Lenten journey.

Dear Folks, Thank you to all who read this and all who commented – proof positive that no matter what the world rulers of this present darkness do, the Mystical Body was, is and will be – forever – and the earthly church rulers will again sometime acknowledge that it is the Mystical Body OF CHRIST.
Dear Phil N, Truly, I read your comment and thought “he realizes what is happening” and also “He truly has given me some excellent advice.” Not for a nanosecond did I think this was even bordering on anything negative; i.e. NOT inconsiderate. Phil Luv ya man.
And y’all should know, Mr P Rubiola is one of those infuriating men who can see only good in everyone all the time – but, alas, I think he aspires to papal white in canonizing some still here. God bless you Mr P R.
God bless us, everyone. guy, Texas
