OK, this is just me having a weird sense of humor, but as I changed my Catholic wall calendar to December, I thought that I’d love to publish one that had a picture of St. Ambrose of Milan for this month. I don’t say that in any way to disrespect the Nativity, but I think it’d be funny because it’d be just so subconsciously disorienting. Not wrong wrong, but wrong.
One more day until the feast of Saint Nicholas on December 6. Saint Nicholas is the patron saint of children and the saint who punched Arius out.
I hope I haven’t ruined your post for tomorrow. Go for it.
At 6 pm we do a Rosary procession through the village. Our Choir is singing Carol’s. One of our Legion of Mary members is decking out as Saint Nicholas. We have 100 blessed St Nicholas medals, chocolate coins and prayer cards.
All to be given away. Looking forward to manning the hot chocolate station with my bride while the children check out the live donkey, goat and pig.
Drive over and share a cup of soup with us.
