Aah- People who make a plan to make a plan. And it’s true these people get nothing done. It’s a cover up for incompetence. How long can they distract someone before they realise they don’t know what the heck they’re doing.
Taking a knee is what serfs do.
I had this same conversation back in 1956, just as I was leaving the USN. Half the swabbies at my chow table there said they’re staying in because of free lunches, clean sheets, and good health care. I chose to leave and make my own choices, raise a family and be free. Saying, “I’ll take this risk,” instead of “Aye, aye, sir,” was the choice. Some folks are born to be dependent and others have wings. I have some doubt as to whether too many more generations will be allowed to be free.
“Some folks are born to be dependent and others have wings. I have some doubt as to whether too many more generations will be allowed to be free.”
I’m afraid most are allowing their wings to be clipped without a peep.
A seemingly identical problem afflicts ‘all the lovely people’ [failed central planners, loser CIA/NSA kindergarten spooks, woke academics, liberal savants (oxymoron), media and tech plutocrats, et al.] feverishly stealing our freedom, destroying our economy, and tearing at our way of life: “Learned in all things, wise in none.” from Kipling, “James I.”
Contemporary translation: they’re a$$holes and losers to whom we the people mistakenly gave too much power to inflict too much pain.
Resist.
