Quaeritur: What’s the difference between a psychopath and a woke liberal?
Responsum: None. They both killl the innocent with gleeful abandon, whether pre-born babies or rescue dogs.
I am not equating dogs with humans. I’m only saying that whether you’re a dog or a baby, expect no mercy from these people.
A dog is not a human, but a dog is something still created by God, presumably for our use and enjoyment. I cannot help but wonder if God will punish (if not here on Earth then elsewhere) those who don’t appropriately appreciate and care for His gifts
Sick. It’s getting out of hand here and people are fed up. The protest across the lockdown states continued this past weekend. And they are getting violent on both sides.
“The First Hound was the first beast ever to be given a name by Adam, the First Man, and that honor we have never forgotten.”
A sharp laugh came from the bushes nearby. It was Fox, with his bright, cunning eyes and his black fur. “And for your loyalty, yours was the first tribe expelled from Eden with him, O Hound!”
“He needed the company,” said Hound simply.
-John C Wright, “The Parliment of Beasts and Birds”
God may have given man dominion over the earth, but it is a wicked and cruel king who abuses their most loyal and faithful subjects.
“Brothers, have no fear of men’s sin. Love a man even in his sin, for that is the semblance of Divine Love and is the highest love on earth. Love all God’s creation, the whole and every grain of sand in it. Love every leaf, every ray of God’s light. Love the animals, love the plants, love everything. If you love everything, you will perceive the divine mystery in things. Once you perceive it, you will begin to comprehend it better every day. And you will come at last to love the whole world with an all-embracing love. Love the animals: God has given them the rudiments of thought and joy untroubled. Do not trouble it, don’t harass them, don’t deprive them of their happiness, don’t work against God’s intent. Man, do not pride yourself on superiority to the animals; they are without sin, and you, with your greatness, defile the earth by your appearance on it, and leave the traces of your foulness after you—alas, it is true of almost every one of us! Love children especially, for they too are sinless like the angels; they live to soften and purify our hearts and as it were to guide us. Woe to him who offends a child! ”
– From “The Brothers Karamazov” by Fyodor Dostoevsky.
One common behavior found in serial killers is that before they “moved up” to murdering people, they very often engaged in animal cruelty.
I wonder if the same sort of descent into sociopathy could apply to governments.
Whether or not the officials who ordered and carried out this barbarism face consequences will be telling…

Jeffrey Dahmer was the echt example of that. IIRC, Kipland Kinkel was another animal torturer.
Probably not Clinton, unfortunately. Hope I’m wrong. That dog rescue place took it upon themselves without directive from NSW health order to put those dogs down (one was a mother who had just given birth to puppies). NSW health orders are confusing at the best of times. Cobar has a large Aboriginal community which is deemed “at risk” from Covid spreading into community. However that shelter didn’t bother going through the process of allowing those that wanted to adopt the dogs to inspect them online and have them delivered to their homes. Just an insane response by them. Lazy and cruel. But their defence will be they did it in the best interest of the community to avoid Covid spread into a vulnerable Indigenous community and because if they aren’t going to be adopted out then they don’t want the dogs turning on each other. There’s always an excuse for madness. It’s embarrassing.
I agree the restrictions in Australia are ludicrously over the top. And some people take delight in acting as if they’re even more severe than they are. But let’s not get carried away with the “animal liberation” but jobs on this. The dogs (a very small number) were unowned and unwanted and picked up by Council rangers on the streets or in the bush. There is no evidence that they were treated inhumanly or cruelly. Australian Council and RSPCA officers shoot hundreds if not thousands of dogs every year. It’s often the most humane and practical way to put down dogs which are unwanted, dangerous and/or a public nuisance.
These were dogs who had rescuers on the way to pick them up. That is why they were shot.
