One indicator that things weren’t going well over there should have been the number of refugees and citizens fleeing Afghanistan over the past decade or so..Same for Iraq…no one monitored what was going on there.
I can’t help wonder what the reason is for its current citizens to surrender to the Taliban so easily and without a fight? Someone or something is instigating this. China/Iran/Russia could be backing the Taliban with money and resources. And It’s not ending well for those citizens who assisted allied forces. I’ll get shot down here for saying this – there should never have been a war in the first place. Same for Iraq.
