Cool fireworks video! The bride and I will enjoy a small-town Fourth today, here in NW IL, put on by the local volunteer fire department with funds donated by the public. So it has always been done here, except of course for last year due to the Black Sniffles panic-demic. Tranquilizers will be in order for our two cats, as the fireworks are set off at the HS football field a mere 1/4 mile from our house.
Praying for the preservation of this Republic. Entrance song at Mass today was My Country ‘tis of Thee, recessional was America the Beautiful. We ain’t beaten yet!
Amen, Frank!
Our kids are very excited; we are doing small firework events every night ourselves, the 3-5th; the 4th will be the REAL one, at a town that advertises their fireworks year round, and is right to be proud– on the way home from Mass, OUR town was empty, because anybody not at church was out at one of the towns that’s doing Independence Day parades, parties, etc!
