If the name doesn’t catch your memory– she’s Mrs. Michael Flynn, awesome scifi and science writer who is also aware of Catholicism’s contributions to the same.
I am mildly obnoxious about linking his explanations for science related Catholic stuff because he is so good at it.
And he’s lost his other half.
I know that she supported him in this, because he wasn’t shy about saying so.
And there’s nothing I can do, but share this news, and ask y’all to pray with me for them.

Prayers said.
Mr. Flynn first came to my attention thirty years ago with the Fallen Angels novel he co-wrote with Pournelle and Niven. May his better half now be enjoying the Beatific Vision.
Thanks for her bio. What an interesting life. Especially how she came to be a Catholic. God Rest Her Eternal Soul.
Fallen Angels let me know that I wasn’t weird, I was just unusual– geeks existed elsewhere, and they acted like people I’d want to know.
