He poses literally no threat to her. Her own diet will kill her.

Is it stating the obvious to ask how she supposed the kid eat his lunch with a mask on?
Well, it is possible he has actually finished his lunch. And he may in fact be, uh, not the most well behaved person with a real, um, “attitude.”

But no, a teacher doesn’t get to say stuff like that. If he was misbeaving, she should have sent him to the office.

The Left has done much to damage the vaccine’s repurtation. I have now started seeing where roughly half of the NIH and FDA employees have not received the vaccine. This may well be true of the CDC. I do not know the numbers of medical professionals and first responders who have delayed, or categorically refused, to be vaccinated. I suspect it is a sizable minority.

About 1/2 the working population is under the age of 42. It’s not imperative that people in that age segment receive the vaccine. I don’t think there’s anyone at the FDA or the NIH who provides hands-on care to patients, so it’s not imperative for that reason, either. Ace of Spades is trying to spin this as FDA and NIH employees wanting to avoid the vaccine because it’s unsafe.
While we’re at it, which idiot public health authority is giving vaccines to adolescents?
It’s imperative for appearances– same way that they’re pouring money into nagging here in Iowa for everyone to join in. Same way that everyone had to mask, to respect their self-inflicted panic.
That Iowa had a smooth roll out as each group of folks got vaccinated, and then opened up to everyone…and there was no demand, to the point that the state turned back vaccine deliveries to places that do still have demand.
It’s never been about the science.
In an article about vaccine passports and mandates, the National Catholic Register pointed out that every 20 year old in America who gets the vaccine is an elderly person overseas (ex: India) who didn’t get it. Still amazed at the rush among my young teleworking coworkers to get the vaccine.
Today I realized that many people seem to think “herd immunity” means “unless everyone is immune, everyone is still vulnerable.” No other way to explain the way that some people who have been fully vaccinated, and many times also recovered from COVID-19, are terrified at the thought of unvaccinated people walking around. They don’t even use the rhetoric of “you’ll kill grandma” anymore. It’s all about how they are personally at risk because people are unvaccinated.
