The internet has gotten bad enough I can’t tell who on this board is being sarcastic or not.
One friend of mine pointed out that most self-help gurus out there promise that you’ll be rich and famous, a powerful CEO if you follow their advice! Jordan Peterson is the first guy he’s never noticed who wrote a self-help book promising you that you’ll be a functioning adult after reading it.
That’s part of why I give him more benefit of the doubt than most of these fads.

Look, JP is basically like the anime that do “How To Be A Functioning Adult” as part of their storyline, but in an intersting way– like Elegant Yokai Apartment Life. (You can watch that, and many others, for free on Crunchy Roll. https://www.crunchyroll.com/elegant-yokai-apartment-life Yes, it’s addictive; there are many other very obviously “Hey, is this Japanese PBS?” type series, some of them rather adult– but they are pushing for a healthy, functioning society.)
