In other news you won’t hear/read, yesterday (18 Feb 2021) US weekly initial unemployment claims rose 13,000 (from prior) to 861,000.
Gasoline and home heating oil prices were up 18% before the recent climate event in the South. Food prices are expected to rise, grocery bills to soar.
Concomitantly, about 150 million Americans are dying of China virus and Congress is debating a bill to deny President Trump Arlington burial when he passes on to Glory.

A budget is about revenue and expenditures to provide for – the source of the revenue. Here’s one definition: “A statement of probable revenue and expenditure and of financial proposals for the ensuing year as presented to or passed upon by a legislative body.” Nothing to do with toy rubber stamps wielded by the exempt-from-reality within the new fence, implied is mature responsibility.

OT, but a sign of The continuing devolution of our society—- Actual journalist Andy Ngo, a longtime chronicler of antifa’s criminality, reports that on Ash Wednesday an armed vandal broke into Portland, Oregon’s St. Mary’s Cathedral and smashed several historic stained glass windows. Christopher Colletta, a known antifa rioter, tried to escape but was arrested. He has since been released by authorities.
It is unclear to me to what level of thuggery antifa must descend, for the Portland prosecutors to show any interest in their criminality. Antifa are certainly more equal than the law-abiding Catholics of that city…
