Oh, that is big of them–allowing 1 day a week at half the schools. We really do not want to educate the children after all! Indoctrinate, yes; educate, no. Luckily my granddaughter was just accepted into a fine classical academy where she will be educated and not even have to wear a face muzzle.
On a related note Berkeley is upping their COVID measures:

Note in particular that “solitary outdoor exercise” is banned. Something which could not possibly spread the disease (indeed, it only puts people in a better position to fight it). Students are meant to stay in their rooms at all times and only leave for the bathroom, food, or a COVID test (which I guess is the third necessity of life).
I bring this up because these half measures are often worse than simply remaining online. Why would any student want to be physically on campus if it meant enduring such harsh restrictions? I am sure that the “one day a week” set up is going to be similar. And of course the cowardly teachers who view their students only as disease vectors will use student’s dissatisfaction over coming to school under such conditions as evidence that they are too frightened to come to school and everything should remain online.

It’s this sort of cr!p which reminds you that these regulatory measures have nothing to do with public health anymore. It’s just the karenwaffe engaging in random activity. There needs to be mass noncompliance or this will just never end.
Karenwaffe! Comment of the week Art! Take ‘er away Sam!
