Sleep Well America: Your Air Force and Santa are Awake

When I was a kid, perhaps because I was the son of an Air Force veteran, I always thrilled to the tracking of Santa by Norad (North American Air Defense).  I am happy to see that Norad is still doing it.  Go here to their Santa tracking website.  Sleep well tonight America!  Santa and your Air Force will both be wide awake!

My second Kindergarten (I’m a December birthday) and first grade years were spent on Elmendorf AFB, Anchorage. On Christmas Eve it was very exciting because my dad’s weather squadron was forecasting for Santa’s trip throughout the world. Other kids’ dads were tracking Santa on his route and the dads at sea air rescue squadron were on alert just in case there was a problem with the sleigh or a reindeer. It was a great time to be a child. So much innocence.

Even better, someone got Clueless Joe to repeat, “Let’s Go Brandon!” on a live NORAD TV feed.

Otherwise, no politics today . . . For Today Our Savior Is Born!

Joy to the World indeed.

@JFK, FWIW I call for the end of MSNBC. Probably more likely than the end of NORAD, although these days one never knows. 🤷🏻‍♂️

Thank you for the great effort you must exert to maintain this blog. I obviously don’t agree with all your posts, but when I find someone with whom I agree with 100%, I can be confident that I have discovered a person who is in error a substantial amount of the time. Merry CHRISTMAS to all.
