Our personal Fiat.
A fitting gift to my Brother who took the beating that I deserved.
Conceived without sin, full of grace.
Kept it til the Annunciation.
Kept it through child rearing years, with a husband less perfect than she.
Kept it when her Son was betrayed, maligned, and murdered by the state.
Kept it while waiting for God to bring her out of the vale of tears.
I don’t understand. I can’t even relate. I have no exemplar of this in my life.
It’s like trying to imagine an ocean, having never seen one, from careful study of a Dixie cup.
When Mary chose to surrender her will to the will of God in all things for all time, Mary chose and became the Perpetual Virgin.
God grifted Mary with the grace to fulfill her destiny as Mother of God. As Mother of Christ the King, Mary was crowned Queen of heaven and earth.
