To Our Father in Heaven.

Happy Father’s day!

Matthew 11:25;

“At that time Jesus answered and said: I confess to thee, O Father, Lord of heaven and earth, because thou hast hid these things from the wise and prudent, and hast revealed them to the little ones. 26Yea, Father; for so hath it seemed good in thy sight. 27All things are delivered to me by my Father. And no one knoweth the Son, but the Father: neither doth any one know the Father, but the Son, and he to whom it shall please the Son to reveal him.”

We are a privileged people.

Humble yourselves, O prideful generations and bask in the Light of the Son.

Happy Father’s day TAC.

Is narcissism a normal component of atheism? Based on the self-absorbed utterances like this one and the many similar ones from people like Sagan, I suspect so. And the deadliest sin is that of pride. What a coincidence.

I have some issues with the modern cult of Divine mercy, which are irrelevant to this discussion, but I often wonder about Faustina’s claim that Christ told her every soul gets a last chance to repent at the moment of death. If that is so, then even fools like Asimov might be saved. It’s worth hoping for, as I wouldn’t wish Hell even on my worst enemy.

“Frank, I have long believed that God casts us a line towards our end, especially the worst of us. What we do with the last chance is up to us.“

One can, and I think should, hope so.

“Asimov knows better now.”
Thank you, Donald.
