Love the movie 1776. And the lines quoted are great. Yet we are faithful Catholics first last and always. We have no higher loyalty than to Christ our sovereign Lord Savior and King. Which is why integration becomes more important and why we shouldn’t allow communities to self-segregate and maintain whatever culture they brought here. If you want to fly the flag of some foreign country that you came in a protest, do it at home. If you don’t want to integrate into the American culture, at least to some degree, maybe you should just stay home rather than dictating to us whether or not we can have a dog.
