The blessed mother is one of the elements of the faith with which I struggle. I can wrap my head around the virgin birth, the fiat, even the assumption.
What I can’t picture is a woman entirely free from the curse of Eve. I objectively believe it, but can’t imagine what it would look like.

Existence comes after essence The essence of man is his soul. The soul is the form of the body- Aquinas, Aristotle. God creates the soul in original innocence, (God does not create evil)
Mary’s soul in fully informed consent chose to serve God perfectly. Mary maintained her original innocence while being granted perpetual virginity in body and soul. Mary’s soul was constantly tempted but Satan was terrified by Mary’s perpetual virginity and love for God.
Mary chose God before she was conceived.
The rest of us must struggle against concupiscence to find our way back to original innocence. Whereas Mary maintained her original innocence.
Mary and Mary’s soul were in the constant presence of God for all eternity.
When dying, Jesus gave all mankind into the Sorrowful heart of Mary, calling her “woman” the name of Mary’s soul.
