“Elon, you really need to stop hiring morons.” The problem, Donald, is that the best software coders are often godless liberal progressive leftists. You see, leftists can’t do anything that requires physical stamina, endurance, and strength. All they can do is sit at a keyboard and control computer displays across the internet. They think that that gives them godlike powers: to manipulate outrage and disgust worldwide at a touch of a button. But clean the engineroom forward bilge on a nuclear submarine in the North Atlantic in November? Splice together the security shaker wire perimeter sensor system in a 20 F snow blizzard off the Hudson River? Test the sewage treatment radiation detector with a radioactive source in a stinky manhole in 100 F 95% humidity summer time? Standatop a 90 foot ladder at the pressurizer “doghouse” while vacuum filling the level transmitter reference leg after reactor shutdown in the same 100 F 95% humidity conditions while wearing anti-contamination suits? Godless leftists don’t have the capability of doing any of those things. And often non-nuclear jobs are worse (like electrical linemen duty in wintertime, or being a boiler technician on a fossil fueled Man ‘O War in summertime). But these coders (who have never ever gotten their hands dirty much less break a sweat doing honest jobs) even work at my current employer, Neutrons ‘R Us, and they HATE following government nuclear regulations, but ironically they look to government for free handouts on everything. What cognitive dissonance. They are the kind of people who sadly dominate the field from which Elon Musk must hire.
