Intellectual consistency has long since been lost on those on the left particularly on questions like abortion. It’s why I stop listening to them about two decades ago. Redefining infancy as 4 months is a good example of what literal Nazis did. Once you redefined someone’s humanity you grant yourself the ability to kill them. God will not be mocked and the four last things are on their way to every person breathing today.
There is no intellectual honesty or consistency on the Left. Hypocrisy is, for the Left, a tool in the toolbox.
This reminds me of the people who think Catholics eating unfertilized chicken eggs but not chicken on Lenten Fridays is some sort of “gotcha.”
I want to add something off topic. There is a legend in his own mind named Jackson Gold at One Peter Five. Mr. Gold has written a piece against Right-Modernism…Right Modernists are apparently causing the destruction of the Social Kingship of Christ the King. Among the perpetrators Mr. Gold names are Adam Smith, John Locke, the American Founding, etc. among the institutions that act as a hub are the Acton Institute, National Review, and, yes…The American Catholic.
Mr.Gold accused these parties of, in effect, fusing the Enlightenment with Catholicism.
