Well that pardon must’ve extended this way. We had a tom and a hen that we were going to cull today, but decided to hold off. Will attempt to get brood from them one last time in the Spring.
First time in years we will have store bought.
For once I’d like to see a Narragansett pardoned… but they’re probably too Tom-ish for prime time.
If he could pull it off, it would have been *much* more entertaining to summon the turkeys pardoned by autopen to the kitchen – for execution of sentence!
