Something for the weekend. Turkey in the Straw Variations by Liberace.
Bonus:
From 1912, Turkey in the Straw performed by the Skillet-Lickers.

Ben Franklin wanted the turkey to be our national bird. I am glad that he was voted down. The eagle referred to as the thunderbird by native Americans is the symbol of the swiftness of God Justice as well as of America.
The eagle also represents St. John, the Evangelist.
The U.S. Postal Service also uses the eagle to represent the swiftness of mail delivery.
( Only a mail truck can go through a red traffic light. Ambulances and fire trucks cannot legally, but do to save human life.)
