If we had a Pope worthy of the title, this would be his focus and not idiocy like climate change.
Doing the Job the Pope Should be Doing
- Donald R. McClarey
Donald R. McClarey
Cradle Catholic. Active in the pro-life movement since 1973. Father of three, one in Heaven, and happily married for 43 years. Small town lawyer and amateur historian. Former president of the board of directors of the local crisis pregnancy center for a decade.
Sudan is another problem nobody wants to address. They are killing Christians for refusing the convert to Islam.
I feel this is all by design as a form of population control through genocide.
Perhaps the Pope is afraid of the Church being taxed, as Trudeau and many other fear mongers has threatened:
Taxing the Catholic Church is taxing the metaphysical virtue of charity. The virtue of Charity is expressed in teaching the people; teaching people to know, to love and to serve Jesus Christ, the Son of God; leading individuals into heaven, loving the poor by preaching Liberty to all nations in the Name of Jesus Christ.
Jesus Christ was called Rabbi: teacher. Jesus Christ is the Revelation of God and by His very being, Christ is the example all people must emulate to be saved from loss of heaven.
“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit.” Matthew 28:19
Making disciples of all nations is teaching people about God, heaven and life.
So, Jesus Christ is Rabbi, teacher and the Catholic Church teaches all nations about God.
Lesser reasons that the Catholic Church may not be taxed is that parishioners have paid their taxes as citizens and taxing their Catholic Church is two taxes; one vote. Double taxation is unconstitutional.
Parishioners pay taxes as individual citizens and tithes to support their church. Tithes, donations and free will offerings to non-profit organizations cannot be taxed because these are the gifts of tax payers who have met their responsibility as law abiding citizens. Taxing a non profit organization will incur taxation without representation because the government will be taking gifts away from charity and inflicting double taxation on a people who have met their tax burden.
Public Schools and public parks are not taxed because they belong to each and every citizen who has met his tax burden. All the treasures of the Vatican belong to each and every person and all future generations in joint and common tenancy. All parish churches belong to each and every person who has paid his taxes. Therefore, taxing the church land and buildings which belongs to each and every taxpayer is double taxation and taxation without representation.
Perhaps the Pope is afraid of the Church being taxed.
It’s been done before. Talk to Henry the 8th who seized all of the Catholic Church’s assets in England. Then go talk to the Anglicans who busily split into thousands of little churches while England is bankrupt.
“Radical Islamists” take the Koran seriously.. what could be wrong with that?!
Trump speaking out and the Pope mute and/or confused.. reminds me of the prophet and the donkey… but that’s not being fair to either.
Ezabelle, the whole edifice of Islam is built on how easy it is to convert, how painful it is if you don’t, and how deadly it is if you leave….
It is not about climate change or control. It is about people and population control. It is about people as pollution.
Man is the glory of God. The less men, the less glory to God.
It is tyranny over man.
and Paul Ehrlich author of Population Bomb is at the Vatican courtesy of Francis I driving the show.
Once again, the greatest tragedy of colonialism was the granting of independence before the countries were capable of being nations.
The pope is afraid of what? Telling the truth is the mark of a man and a real leader. Cardinals are sheep and the conclave had a weak bench to pick from. So this is why we have Frankie II, the sequel. Better luck next time?
Donald Link:
“Once again, the greatest tragedy of colonialism was the granting of independence before the countries were capable of being nations.”
Freedom is endowed by God, not the state.
God did not want Israel to have a king because all men are sovereign kings in a land of kings.
When was the last time anyone heard a peep from the Vatican when Catholics were persecuted by Islam or Communism?
Nope, nope, it’s let “migrants” in wherever they want to go, the poor, the poor, the poor, climate change and stamp out the TLM.
