I pray we avoid Civil War II, the anguish, death and sorrow it would cause is beyond imagining. However if it does break out, I will not be at all surprised.

Cradle Catholic. Active in the pro-life movement since 1973. Father of three, one in Heaven, and happily married for 43 years. Small town lawyer and amateur historian. Former president of the board of directors of the local crisis pregnancy center for a decade.
Reminds me of what Clemenza said to Michael Corleone while preparing him to kill Sollozzo and McCluskey…
“These things gotta happen every five years or so, ten years. Helps to get rid of the bad blood. Been ten years since the last one. You know, you gotta stop them at the beginning. Like they should have stopped Hitler at Munich.”
Tessio was regarded as the smarter Capo. It was actually Clemenza all along.

Peering out of my fox hole in Massachusetts I find the concept of “civil war” unimaginable. A hard guess is that most people consider MA to be entirely Blue… it’s not.. it’s 40% Red.. only gerrymandering keeps all reps and senators Blue..
And guess which group owns firearms,, with sons and daughters in the Guard.
“Civil War” is not going to happen, what the Left does want is to incite violence for it’s own evil yes, but also to incite a response from the Right so the Left can then say see-
I don’t think the political Left has the stomach for a fight.
Back in 2020 I was hoping BLM would march up my street and cause problems. Pennsylvanians have more guns than most nations. I have none and for good reason but my neighbors are very well armed.
