The FBI secretly deployed more than 250 plainclothes agents to the U.S. Capitol during the Jan. 6, 2021 riot, an operation so disorganized it unleashed searing frustrations among many of the FBI’s rank-and-file that the bureau had lost its core competencies to “wokeness” and allowed its employees to become “pawns in a political war,” according to an after-action report kept from the public for more than four years.
Scores of FBI agents and personnel – many from the bureau’s premier Washington field office (WFO) – sent anonymous complaints to the after-action team detailing how agents were sent into an unsafe scenario without proper safety equipment or the ability to identify themselves readily as armed officers to other police agencies, the report obtained by Just the News shows.
The most persistent complaint was that the bureau during the James Comey and Chris Wray era had become infected with political biases and liberal ideology that treated the protesters from the summer 2020 Black Lives Matter riots far differently than those arrested in the aftermath of the Jan. 6 episode.
Go here to read the rest of the story. Prior to this the FBI had admitted only to 26 “confidential sources” among the J6 crowd. None of this would ever have come out but for Trump winning a second term. The FBI is a rogue agency that needs to be brought to heel, or dismantled and replaced.

Yep. Christopher Wray perjured himself in front of Congress. Odious greater Washington juries likely will not convict him, but you might go after his various law licenses. Ditto Comey.

Many years ago I attended a talk by the late political theorist Gottfried Dietze. He had a long career in academe in this country but would never be welcome today. He said one thing that disturbed him was the use of agents provacateurs by police services in the United States and said that in continental legal systems some of the activities of the FBI would lead to prosecution of the officers and not their targets. (The hook for the discussion was a political corruption case then working its way through federal courts).

Andrew McCarthy noted that one bit of scamming around by the FBI and the Department of Justice during the period 2016-19 was that the predicate for opening a counter-intelligence investigation was irregularly repurposed to open a criminal investigation and Rod Rosenstein allowed it.

It seems like everything is wrong with federal law enforcement. We have courts which meddle a great deal but do not protect us very much, prosecutors initiating and directing investigations rather than just advising investigators, a bloated federal penal code which can readily be deployed to destroy Regime antagonists (Conrad Black) or just ordinary schlubs when AUSA’s want a scalp for career advancement (Jared Fogle), federal agents who manufacture criminal situations and then prosecute the patsies they recruit (Whitmer ‘kidnappers’), and, of course, impunity for Regime cogs like Lois Lerner and Peter Sztrok (as well as Hunter Biden, while we’re at it).

This is disturbing but not surprising. Unfortunately the US Federal Government agencies have long been avenues for self interest agendas. I think this is public knowledge amongst conspiracy theorists. And now we come to see these conspiracy theorists were not crazy after all. You couldn’t make this stuff up.
On another note:
I just want to express how ashamed I am as an Australian, about our PM Albanese, who I did not vote for and who many reasonable Australians saw red flags (Trade Unionist, life long politician who has become wealthy off tax payer salary, liar) about him coming out and recognising the Palestinian State and his shenanigans at the UN council.
Albanese and the Labor government does not speak for me or many other Australians. We have some troubling issues domestically (immigration, cost of living, public order) which he is handing with complete incompetency (voluntarily mind you). And he has the audacity to claim to speak on behalf of the Australian population. The silent majority are appalled. We reject this.
I see Meloni of Italy the only one with the courage to go against the sheep. What sheep we have leading the world. God Bless and protect her.
This doesn’t make any sense. In one way, the FBI is still covering for itself, because the claim is that the agents were sent in during the riot–i.e. after the violence had started.
But if that’s the case, then what was the point? Why send in undercover agents–no ID, no body armor, but armed with guns–to a situation that’s not just volatile, but has already turned hot?
I hesitate to say that they were sent in hopes of “accidentally” provoking a bloodbath…but even gross incompetence doesn’t seem to provide another explanation.
