ps.
Pope Leo the XIV has quite an elephant to eat. I pray that he starts with dissolving the restrictions on TLM. I can’t imagine the stresses within the Vatican politics.
I’m praying for him everyday.

Re Archbishop Weisenburger: How can an Archbishop lead a diocese when anger and revenge are the only things he’s done so far? No kind of Christian discipleship is being shown, but a worldly approach to problems. He is treating the Church like a business, and acting like a CEO who’s out for revenge after a failed takeover.

And who was head of the Dicastery for selecting bishops when this poor excuse for a shepherd was appointed Archbishop of Detroit?

We are a long way from being out of the woods here. Keep those prayers coming.

Maybe Pope Leo XIV is sitting at his laptop writing that encyclical on artificial intelligence which we’ve been promised. Personally, I’d prefer that he excommunicate Father James Martin as a warning to all homoerotic clergy. But I am not known for my political correctness (since today I pi$$ed off a couple of engineers at Neutrons ‘R Us who wanted to side step regulations on their way to nuclear “excellence”).

Safety is paramount and a reason to show you care… never miss the opportunity to as politically incorrect as you can when it comes to that.

Detroit is a city engulfed in Muslims. They rule by Sharia Law with a Sharia judge. They have 2 Muslims in Congress to represent them.
By firing the theologians the archbishop has shot himself in the foot. The other foot being in his mouth.
