Trump on a Winning Streak

Lincoln when reacting to those urging him to cashier General Grant for drinking, said, “I can’t spare this man.  He fights!”

Trump can be frequently rude, crude and infuriating, but he fights the right people, and he usually wins.  The only president of my lifetime worthy to be spoken in the same breath as Ronald Reagan.

Now is why it is so important to make sure we get the next couple of elections right, so this is more permanent rather than merely an opportunity for our enemies to simply wait out Trump for, shall we say, a friendlier to adversaries government…

Josh- my thought is that it would be a masterstroke for Trump to resign in year three. That way, JD runs as a an incumbent with all of its current advantages.
*Cue howls of disagreement*

I do think it may have been bandied about. But I also think everyone is taking the wait and see approach. There’s no truly obvious D candidate right now, as many are potentially self-destructing. The midterms will tell us a lot, as well.

Always a measure of joy when our “betters” get a comeuppance.

AD. Charlie Sheen never won anything, but Trump does. So don’t worry.

Has it not been said that fortune favors the bold?

On a daily basis, Trump skewers the Washington Establishment. He humiliates them. He embarrasses them. They deserve every bit of it.

As for 2928, the GOP is deep with young candidates. The Dems are on the precipice of disaster. The GOP establishment will throw them a lifeline ..the MAGAs will kick them over the edge. Trump remade the GOP into Joe Lunchbox. Political victories are never permanent. The Bushes tried to scrap Reaganism. The Bushes have been run out of the GOP. Vance and DeSantus are take no prisoner types and anyone who thinks John McCain’s way of doing things is the future are few and far apart.
