Of course Iran cannot be allowed to go nuclear. Which imbeciles living in self-contained bubbles do not understand this? This strike is well overdue, as in last decade overdue. And no one had the courage till now, to do it. Obama should be in prison for the cash payments he gave to Iran in broad daylight.
I am very appreciative that the POTUS has not (and never, for that matter) been infected with the naivete which seems to be rearing its ugly head over the last 12-18 hours. Iran has been at war with us since 1979 – longer than my lifetime.
Of course, the alternative to the naivete are those who are attempting to cover up the very fact they are pro-Mullah and anti-USA/Israel/West. Not a flattering position. But they seem to be hellbent on sticking to their story.
This particular phase of Iran’s decades-long war of terror started on October 7, 2023. American citizens were among those captured by Hamas, acting under Iran. That was a direct attack on us. It should have elicited an immediate and unequivocal response from Biden, or whoever was really in charge.
Josh – Pope Leo is urging for peace and diplomacy in his speeches. Which is expected from a Pontiff because what else is he meant to say …? Our Parish did a special prayer for Peace this weekend.
I just find it laughable that the rhetoric coming out of Iran is that the strikes are a violation of United Nations treaties and international law and a threat to Iranian sovereignty. Iran has wreaked havoc on the middle East since the 1970’s – through 3rd party terrorist organisation now masquerading as political movements! Iran has threatened the Sovereignty of multiple Middle Eastern countries time and time again. They are an arrogant and dishonest and evil regime.. And they have the gall to act as innocent bystanders.
They need to take out the Khomeini and this will spark an internal revolution. Their own people despise them.

Great comment.
