“And then there’s the food”

A comparison of the food mimics their respective national identity. Italian food is typically simple, fresh, Identifiable and delicious. The French food is pretentious and they feel the need to over produce and over work everything they make with the goal of seeming more significant. Example: souffles versus omelets. If I had to do a blind selection without knowing what the dish was and the only identification was it was French or Italian guess what I’d pick.
