It’s about time someone in a robe other than Alito and Thomas started pushing back from the real world. Because at least five SCOTUS Justices are living in fantasy land, most or all of the time, at least when it comes to applying the Constitutional balance of powers. This is unsustainable.
When two branches of the government soil themselves beyond recognition, is it likely the third will *not* follow in their footsteps.
I think only the low turnover rate has preserved the Supreme Court’s clout this long…

The hour strikes me as problematic, yet, I’ve encountered situations whereby something absurd at first glance …turned out to have merit.
Equal Justice for all cannot happen if the Court has the power to manipulate court hours.
