Nazis, then and now are another group of tyrants who will deny the soul, free will and sovereign personhood of every human being created by the Infinite Supreme Sovereign Being, usurping the place of God and imposing their will on unwilling free people.
There is a young priest on Twitter / X who has been accused of anti-semitism and Nazi sympathies because he had raised his right hand while speaking from a podium at a right to life rally. Now first, yes, he is a member of the Anglican continuum and not affiliated with the Anglican Church out of Canterbury or the Episcopal Church USA. Second, we all know the sad history of King Henry VIII’s adulteries and murders, and of the bloody violence perpetrated by both sides – Protestant and Catholic – in the wake of that man’s disobedience in the 16th century, so I won’t belabor the point here. And third, we all know about Pope Leo XIII’s Apostolicae Curae and the Anglican response in Saepius Officio, so I won’t discuss them either. None of those things are the point. What is the point is this: that priest preaches orthodoxy and his bishop (who has authorized ordination of priestesses in his jurisdiction) has officially and in writing falsely accused him of anti-semitism. Thus, like our own beloved Bishop Strickland, he has been cancelled. His license to preach and dispense the sacraments have been suspended (and please don’t say Anglicans have no sacraments; let’s not fight about that here). What I am getting at is this: the first video above applies to this situation. That priest has been outspoken against abortion, sodomy, lesbianism, transgenderism, etc., and such outspokenness arouses the ire of the godless liberal progressive feminists in his jurisdiction, and they complained to a weak-kneed, yellow-bellied, cowardly bishop who thinks it’s ok to have priestesses. So the inevitable happened: my Anglican priest friend got cancelled for being like the prophet Jeremiah, telling people to repent. He has been thrown down the cistern of public marginalization and ostracization. And I for one am damn sick and tired of these freaking effeminate lavendar-laced bishops – whether Roman or Anglican (here’s looking at you, USCCB) – doing these things with impunity. BTW, that priest is by biology part black and part white, and worships the King of the Semites (Iesus Christus Rex Iudaeorum). How the heck can he possibly be an anti-semitic Nazi?
LQC-
You are right that bishops behaving badly ought not to get away with it.
Two of the most vile lies of our time are Peace whatever the cost and Unity above anything else.
The Anglican Church died at Lambeth 1930 after along illness. They simply have not found anyone to give it a decent burial yet.
Sadly, Donald Link, there is some truth to what you wrote. At the 1930 Lambeth Conference the Anglican Communion authorized the use of contraceptives. I am convinced that that event began the downfall of Canterbury and the Episcopal Church USA which today is ever accelerating. The Anglican Continuum exists precisely because of the heterodoxies of Canterbury and the Episcopal Church USA, but one of the jurisdictions in the Continuum – the Anglican Church of North America – seems bound and determined to adopt the Hitler Nazi propaganda in Donald McClarey’s video above against any conservative Anglican priest who speaks openly and loudly against abortion, homosexuality, and transgenderism. We as Romans should thank the Lord our God that a Bergoglian did NOT get elected as Pope in the recent Conclave and send us down in hot pursuit on the path of heterodoxy that Canterbury and the Episcopal Church USA have already trail-blazed. That we don’t imitate them is only because of God’s grace and mercy that we clearly do NOT deserve.
