I saw this as a story in passing last night. The selfies with the Pope are in the same vein of many social media posts ostensibly about Francis but really turned into a narcissistic musing about the poster himself.
Respectful.
Then there’s the antithesis of it.
My guess is that she’s eating a bag of carmel corn and bought the commemorative “Pope is Dead” balloon on a stick when she stepped off the tour bus. Poor sap.
“I bet “smart” phones are mandatory in hell.” Amen
“People as pollution,’ Paul Ehrlich writer of the Population Bomb book…hell.
Regardless of how one feels about this Pope, what the woman is doing in the photo above is so awfully disrespectful.

There’s also been altercation between people queuing up. The viewing has been poorly organised by the Vatican. I would never have imagined that faithful people who want to pay respects to the Pope would push and shove each other. People are not going there with good intentions.(
This didn’t happen when QE2 died and people queued for hours and hours, if not longer.
Ezabelle, I dare say that Queen Elizabeth spoke and behaved with far more tact than Pope Francis.
