I wish everyone would start referring to Communist China for the mainland country ruled by the Communists; and to the island nation The Republic of China [instead of “Taiwan”]. And whenever an official of Communist China is mentioned, state, e.g. Communist Xi Jinping, etc. Communist China refers to itself as the PRC, the “Peoples Republic of China” – but that is not true-The PRC is the country ruled by the group of communist tyrants, who alone rule the country on the mainland- i.e. Communist China is not ruled by the people or by representatives of the people. Sure would like to know in the secret deal between those now in power in the Vatican and Communist China how Communist China was referred to in the deal. Guy, Texas

I’d go with Evil Empire II.
Good point Guy. To me they will always be Red China.
Same here on the Red China label. I suppose we are all showing our age now. I still recall some of the arguments I made back in the sixth grade (1965) when we had an exercise in formal debate competition, and I was assigned to argue against Red China being admitted to the U.N. The idea of calling that country some other name than “Red” never occurred to any of us then. Simpler times.

‘Red China’ or ‘Communist China’ is what I call it. And here’s hoping it soon collapses the way the USSR did in ‘91.
