Freedom of Speech

It doesn’t exist in the United Kingdom and most of Europe.  That is what the Left in this country has planned for the Land of the Free and the Home of the Brave.

“If you want a picture of the future, imagine a boot stamping on a human face—for ever.”
George Orwell, 1984

The frightening thing is -today’s technology makes this ever more possible.
Be vigilant. Keep the 1st and the 2nd, we’ll be ok.

✅ Livia. God bless her.

Trump bought us valuable time. Too many lawmakers in the UK are godless. Same misfortune on this side of the pond.

Add Livia to The Declaration of Independence: “And for the support of this Declaration with a firm reliance on the protection of divine Providence…In God We Trust”
Most citizens do not know their civil rights. Kamala Harris speech cited “Liberty and the pursuit of Happiness” without mentioning “Life.”
In 2004, Public Law 108-447, Section 111 was passed requiring the following:
“Each educational institution that receives Federal funds for a fiscal year shall hold an educational program on The United States Constitution on September 17 of each year for the students served by the educational institution.
“…each Federal agency or department shall provide educational and training materials concerning the United States Constitution to each employee…on September 17 of each year.”

A year ago, the Russian-born and now UK citizen Konstantin Kisin was interviewed by the Australian John Anderson. Mr. Kisin was explaining to Mr. Anderson how civil rights in the UK were being hollowed out by the left. He asked Anderson to guess how many people in Russia in the previous year had been jailed because their government didn’t like something they’d posted on social media. The answer: four hundred.

Kisin then asked Anderson to guess the same about the UK. Turns out the number of British citizens jailed that year for making a social media post their government disliked was around thirty-three hundred.

A nation has fallen far if Putin’s Russia could actually be considered eight times more free

The next time, and there will be a next time, Britain wants a bailout of its problems, the proper response would be to look to their own who created them.

Just saw an article from last Friday’s London Times reporting that so far this year UK police are averaging 30 arrests per day for “offensive online messages”. At that rate, they are on track to see almost 11,000 arrests this year for speech that annoys government and its favored groups.

It is amazing that the UK has become so totalitarian that even Russia is a beacon of freedom in comparison.

The British Labour Party has made a bad situation even worse. Keep in mind that the Conservative Party held most of the ministries for 14 years and a secure majority in the Commons for about half that time and did flat nothing about this issue. Baron Chipping Norton and the rest of them are contemptible.

Oh, and those ‘human rights’ lobbies like shAmnesty International and ‘Human Rights Watch’ will pretend it isn’t happening. Freedom House will also ignore this.

About these cops, do they never hit the doughnut shop or are their supervisors demanding they squander their time on this?

Don’t pay the fine. And find a good pro bono lawyer who can fight this one as violation of the right to peaceful protest and free speech (or whatever “rights” is afforded the British people today).

Looks like they may have raised the money for the fine. So she won’t have to sell her house.

Just to temper the Putin comparisons a bit: you realize critics of Pooty are likely to end up dead or “disappeared” and may not appear in you counts.
