“Bearing fruit” = “giving more power to our Commie friends”. Definitely working as intended.
Shameless indeed.
Proof?
Where’s the evidence of this “fruit.”
I would love to share this news about the right direction but I once believed that homosexual priests are not after the young boys and if they were the superiors would take real action to see that they don’t injure the flock. Not say..moving them around as if that was enough.
Believing without proof is faith.
The Executive Commision on China is having an effect on my faith regarding the words from the Cardinal.
I love Our Holy Catholic Church and pray for her.
Please provide some proof of good fruit.
One should not be surprised. These are the same politicos who brought about Paul VI’s “Ostpolitik” and sold out Catholic dissidents under a different communist regime.
I sometimes wonder if, even with all the theological and disciplinary errors of Vatican 2, the refusal formally to anathematize Communism might be the worst of them all. The sucking up to the CCP we now witness certainly is one of its most terrible results.
The selling out of the Chinese Catholics will bear fruit alright. Their betrayers will receive the condemnation of just men in this life, and, if there’s no repentance for this foul deed, eternal punishment in the next.

During Mass?
Where is the whip?
There’s a non-zero chance this gentleman walks out onto the balcony as Pope after the next conclave.
