I always thought the girl the guy was with is cuter than the girl he’s checking out. Fitting to the meme I guess.
The meme should “Any Other Religion” as “Being Nice and Loved”.
And the intentional ambiguity of the Vatican II abandonment of “extra ecclesia null salus” in favor of (paraphrasing) “the Truth subsists in the Catholic Church” bears yet more rotten fruit. Heckuva job, V-II, heckuva job.

I like the Latin noun “defungor” in relation to Jorge the Heretic. It sounds like “de-fungi-cize” –> like getting rid of fungus.
Jesus said :“I am the way and the truth and the life. No one comes to the Father except through me” (John 14:6).
This syncretism is not at all new. My use of John 14:6 as the verse to a composed Gospel Acclamation drew scrutiny from leftist female liturgists way back in 2003. My answer to them on why I chose it: “It’s what was there and fit the music. Why wouldn’t I use it?” They had no answer then, and must be thrilled with all this now.
