The Dems were no doubt happy to have a healthy if slightly dotty Biden, whom they could manipulate, but he fell apart faster than they realized. Their control was contested by Mrs. Biden (and that they did not anticipate that makes me question how many are in longterm marriages). Then there’s Hunter who, like the broken button on the trapdoor of a pair of long johns, is always showing a side of Biden and the family they’d rather keep hidden.
Question: did they ever anticipate that Harris would have to take over and would they be able to jerk her around as easily as they once jerked Joe?
