I have read this elsewhere, as well. We ignore the truth at our peril. Ask Britain and France and Germany how that’s going. And there are millions of them, unvetted and unlawfully in this country, available for “assignments.”
It’s the perfect example of how the alleged “virtue” of tolerance is used against us. And how appearance is more important than substance.
I’m unapologetically Islamophobic. Poison was released in the world when that religion was created. At its core, Islam is Machiavellian. The sooner we accept this in the west, the better we will be at combatting its ability to destroy our God-given freedom.
I have taught many Muslims whose families have come from Egypt, the Middle East, Iran, Pakistan and Southeast Asia (and one from Burma about whom I have many amusing stories). I do not worry about those who come here one-by-one, for they seem to assimilate, but those (like the Somalis in Minnesota and Michigan) who come in a pack and never mix outside their tribal group. Europe has that problem to a far greater degree than we do.
I reject the notion that Islam as an idea (and ideology) is somehow beyond criticism because (among other things):
A good Muslim person is a good person despite their Muslim religion.
A Muslim country maintains law and order by ruling with an iron fist. That is why Muslim countries have authoritarian governments.
Muslims view Islam to be above everything and will defy their own moral rules to ensure this. Eventually, a moderate Muslim will revert back to the full-force of their religion.
On a a grass-roots level, Islam also ensures it survival and spread – when I hear of a non-Muslim woman marrying a Muslim man (oh he is moderate, doesn’t practise, he just doesn’t like bacon or beer), I know exactly what her future holds when they have children. And it won’t be her choice. They lie. It’s ok to lie too.
Muslim are also told to make their adopted land Muslim- buy land, have lots of kids, build mosques, schools and spread. They dominate through slow natural attrition.
And as Sir Scruton mentioned above, they have fooled the west by playing the victim card of discrimination. Or rather the west are gullible and weak and accomodating them and anyone over their own citizens.
