Where the Race Stands

Less than five months out, Trump stands on the cusp of being reelected.  He currently has 268 safe electoral votes:  one shy of a tie and two shy of an outright victory.  If there is a tie the race would be decided by the House, with each state delegation voting by majority vote.  The Republicans under any scenario would control more state delegations, and Trump would almost certainly win.

In regard to the unawarded states, Trump is ahead slightly in regard to Michigan and Pennsylvania.  Wisconsin and Virginia are tied.  Trump is two behind in Minnesota and New Hampshire.

Trump has an off chance of winning Maine state wide which would give him two votes.  In Nebraska second, if Trump wins, he would get one electoral vote.  Biden basically has to run all the unawarded states to win while holding on to Maine state wide and Nebraska second.

At this point in the race, I would much rather be Trump than Biden.

We’re in a tough spot. If Trump wins the Left will riot and go crazy. If Biden wins, nobody will believe it.
