The idea that any educational system should be neutral in regard to the moral codes taught to the young, would have struck almost all educators as preposterous and evil, going back to the time of Sumer. A moral code will be taught, and parents should not delude themselves on this point.
Morality Will Be Taught

As they say in homeschooling circles…..
Oh something will be taught alright. Just finished helping my 16 year old with a Business Studies module she is doing through an external school. You must use gender neutral terms – no businessman or businesswoman – only business person. 🤦🏻♀️ Cue the LGBTQ business case studies…
Foxfier:
“Village” no longer means the village elders advised by the village priest, but the village busybodies advised by the village idiot.
“A moral code will be taught, …”
Boy, ain’t THAT the truth!
“You must use gender neutral terms – no businessman or businesswoman – only business person.”
I was listening to a tidbit in the radio recently; heard a PSA for public schools. A current member of the astronaut corps, a native of this State, was featured in this one; naturally he mentioned something about space flight. I recall thinking it a subtle jab by language police: He cannot say “manned space flight” or “man in space”, but must say “human space flight” or “human in space”.
Good grief.
Good grief indeed John. Ridiculous. The men and women of this world don’t care about the terminology. Only the thought police do.
This has been going on a long time. A great con: push old morality out the window and then fill the void with the new. As for the gender neutral terms, that’s actually been going on for decades. In college we were encouraged to say police person rather than policeman and similar. When we became Catholic, I took a job at an educational publisher. There were mandatory quotas for representing different groups and also what words and terms couldn’t be used. My favorite was part of a suggestion section – not mandated, but encouraged – where we were told to use the term ‘Halloween Lantern’ rather than Jack because Jack was a male, and hence a gender exclusive, name.
Just wondering if the romance languagues have become woke? No more La or Le?
A CNN segment said that we shouldn’t have the Ten Commandments in schools, because then a kindergartner could be exposed to the word “Adultery,” because even mentioning that topic is too much sexuality for kids that young.
Talking about same sex marriage, drag queens, sexual reassignment surgery, etc. that’s all A-OK for kindergartners.
One of the biggest tells for these people is that they have no shame. They will literally say anything if they think that it will get their way, and they expect you to believe every word.
