Kangaroo Day

The jury in New York City has convicted  Trump on all 34 counts.  Sentencing has been set for July 11, 2024.  The conviction was purely a product of bias as there was no evidence of any crime.  If this can happen to a former President who is a billionaire, this can happen to anyone.  A sad day for America and a sad day for the Law.  Much more to follow.  If we have a Civil War II, we took a large step towards it today.

This nation has forfeited it’s moral authority and can no longer pretend to be the leader of the free world….whatever that is

They just declared to half the country “your political party and views are illegal.”

I see no way for this to end well. May the Lord yet send miracles.

Dr. Jill Biden said earlier in the week that Democrats are good and any Republican is evil. That’s all the election is about. Now how many older Catholic women will cast their vote for that nice Catholic man Joe Biden, because Joe will yell at them constantly between now and November that they can’t vote for a convicted felon?

Will Trump now be sentenced to jail time? Should we even put up with this farce? The Democrats have left no alternative but a response none of us want to give. They shove LGBTQ down our throats at work and we can’t say or do anything. They mutiliate children for their transgender ideology. They murder pre-born babies. They feminize the military into impotency and emasculate the police. They enable BLM and Antifa riots. Their list of crimes never ends. They are utterly wicked, evil, depraved and perverted. No sane and civilized society can possibly tolerate such people. Yeah, it’s gotten to that point. A point I don’t like and it makes me fear for my country, my family, my grandkids. None of us should want what may likely happen. If God doesn’t intervene, this won’t end until there is full scale fighting. The Democrats hve left no other alternative. This is diabolical. God please save us from ourselves.

His appointments of three Supreme Court Justices helped to topple a law that never should of existed. The hatred he attracted for his delivery of that pro-life promise made him enemy #1 for those who won’t open their hearts to the plight of the unborn. They think that they have won the day, and they may have, but they can’t win in the end. They can only postpone the inevitable.

This isn’t over by any means.

It’s often talked about how in democracy people eventually realize that you can just vote to have the government give you money.

What we are seeing here is the realization by juries that you can just ignore the evidence and use the trial to take your personal enemies.

While the evidence was stronger (as in, it existed) in the Chauvin case, I have no doubt that what drove the jury’s decision was the desire to see an enemy punished. This is most clear by the fact that he got convicted with second degree murder. Legal experts talked at length about whether that made any sense in that specific case (especially since previous Minnesota case law had said that for second degree murder to apply, multiple parties must be put at risk) but for the jury all that matter was “more serious crime = more penalties to my enemy.” I have no doubt that they would have convicted him for first degree murder if the prosecution had put that on the table, or for something like tax evasion for that matter.

The prosecution tried to do the same thing in the Kyle Rittenhouse case, but lacked a sympathetic judge and jury. However, note that in the response to the trial on the left plenty made it clear that they thought that the trial should be used as a means to punish an enemy, regardless of what the law states. For example, many of them objected to the judge calling out the prosecution for blatantly trying to violate Kyle’s fifth amendment rights. Their arguments were not that the fifth amendment was void, but rather that since the judge took the prosecution to task, the jury might not trust that the prosecution’s lies were the truth and this would make it harder to have Kyle get the punishment he deserved.

My point is that we’ve long been at the point where the left sees no connection between trials and truth or law. They just see them as means to punish their enemies. This is the largest scale event where they’ve done this, and the most blatant in their disregard for the law, but their hearts have been at this point for at least half a decade.

How you fix that without a separation, I don’t know.

I don’t recall who it was, but a writer was once questioning Spaniards, back in it’s aftermath. “What caused your Civil War.” One response has always chilled me to the bone, “We just got to where we couldn’t stand each other any more.” I am afraid.

Hillary wasn’t prosecuted, even though there was very strong evidence against her. ‘Experts’ at the time asserted that it would set a terrible precedent to pursue the case, that it would smack of political persecution and as a nation we are bigger than that. I wasn’t thrilled that she was able to walk away from her misdeeds, but I could see the point the ‘Experts’ were making.

With Trump’s persecution, those same ‘Experts’ have gone silent.

What truly worries me is that now, by staging this lawfare against their political opposition, the Democrats have made it imperative that they never lose control of the executive. If someone like Trump were to come into office, the Democrats would themselves be subject to the same lawfare they just legitimized.

I imagine the Democrats are determined to do whatever it takes, legal or illegal, to never lose power again.

What’s interesting is the difference between the elite democrats and the rank and file.

Go to the big name celebrities and what they are saying is disgusting, but pretty weak. “The Republican Candidate for president is now a convicted felon!” “This could bring down poll numbers by a couple of points”, etc.

Compare this to forums and social media accounts of lefty hives. These people are lamenting the “loophole” that allows Trump to still appear on the ballot and questioning why the election doesn’t simply end today with Biden sworn in for a second term. Yeah, I know, the internet isn’t reality (it will take some time to hear from lefty relatives to get a good feel for that). But the fact is that there is a significant population of the country who do not care about law, justice, truth, etc. Their whole worldview is “if my guy wins, then that is justice, and if my guy loses, then that is injustice.” The saddest part about all of this is that since everyone works by slogans and memes, they will act this way while still calling themselves “defenders of democracy.”

Now what is interesting is the disconnect. The elites want to play this as subtly as they can. They haven’t been subtle as late, but that’s because they settled on a strategy of “get Trump convicted” and ran into the problem that he was surprisingly clean for a businessman and politician, so they had to force it. But if they wanted to really force the issue we’d be seeing people openly call for martial law, jailing people who say that they plan to vote for Trump, etc. Obviously that would lead to civil war so they would prefer to do half measures whenever possible in the hope that they will be allowed to get away with it.

But they’ve created a base who simply cannot see the difference between these half measures and a full on coup. Like I said, for them anything that hurts Trump is “democracy.” An America with a non-hidden vote with soldiers telling people at gunpoint that they must vote for Biden would be “democracy” in their eyes. So they cannot appreciate the idea of forcing a guilty verdict for some political advertising when you could just throw Trump in jail for the rest of his life.

So what happens when you have created a base of people who do not care about law, order, truth, etc. and you only present them with half measures that only serve to frustrate them? Keep in mind that these are the same people who supported burning down cities in the BLM riots.

The denial of God.

The DNC, in 2016 I beleive, walked away from God. Hillary said that religion needs to change it’s views on abortion.

St. Pope John Paul II, one year after the assassination attempt, had this to say about about our times;

On May 13, 1982, Pope John Paul II spoke the following words during a homily given in Fatima, Portugal:

“In the light of a mother’s love we understand the whole message of the Lady of Fátima. The greatest obstacle to man’s journey towards God is sin, perseverance in sin, and, finally, denial of God. The deliberate blotting out of God from the world of human thought. The detachment from him of the whole of man’s earthly activity. The rejection of God by man…. [He] reads it again with trepidation in his heart, because he sees how many people and societies—how many Christians—have gone in the opposite direction to the one indicated in the message of Fátima. Sin has thus made itself firmly at home in the world, and denial of God has become widespread in the ideologies, ideas and plans of human beings.”

This denial of God and the rise of sinful behavior is catastrophic, yet we are called to harvest as many souls for Christ as we possibly can with the time we have remaining.

Let’s get to work.

Well, they’ve also been deliberately appointing activist judges for decades, the crazier the better. Republicans, for the most part, have appointed judges who respect the law. With the Obama DoJ still in place, and the liberal, activist judiciary, the right wouldn’t be able to accomplish what the left is doing. I’m not sure I’d even want to.
