Thought For The Day

Whenever I am tempted to pat myself on the back for my involvement in the pro-life cause, I always put myself in my proper place by thinking of the real heroines and heroes of the movement.

The hatred for a stranger wishing to save babies.

The world is about to be shaken up.
How could it not?
The Almighty God, King of Mercy sees the activity and injustice.

I will place this woman in my prayers today.

God help us. The spirit of Barabbas is gaining in popularity.
Jesus will come again. It won’t be pretty for many.
So be it.

One day there will be justice.

Psalm 149:5-9

5 Let the faithful exult in glory;
let them sing for joy on their couches.
6 Let the high praises of God be in their throats
and two-edged swords in their hands,
7 to wreak vengeance on the nations
and chastisement on the peoples,
8 to bind their kings with chains
and their nobles with fetters of iron,
9 to execute on them the judgment written!
This is glory for all his faithful ones.
Praise the Lord!

*Hey sista – whatcha in for?

Saving babies.

Whatdya mean?

Well, let’s just call it wrong place, wrong time.*

May God amend the times. As the gospel reading for today reminds us, we will be hated by the world because it first hated Christ.

Menacing a Jewish kid on campus falls under free speech, but pleading with a woman to refrain from killing her child is a crime. Seems to me both have blocked “access,” but get different treatment.

Yet another example of the increasingly unequal application of law, which is ultimately more dangerous to the republic than abortion or mostly peaceful protests.

Prayers for this brave women. Our Lady by her side and her Guardian Angel comfort her. Christ protect her and heal her and keep her from harms way.

This just makes me angry – I’m far from a legal whizz but what twilight zone is this where someone’s legal rights are being violated to place a non-violent person in solitary confinement. How is this even legal? She has been there 22 days! Who is fighting her legal cause…
