The Bishops’ conferences had their own satellite network that was sold to parishes and dioceses from roughly 1981-95. It was one of the most grotesquely mismanaged operations that ever existed.
They wanted their own competition to Mother Angelica and EWTN but they could never get out of their own way. The US episcopal conference couldn’t, how should I put this… organize a you know what in a brothel, and folded and then tried to muscle in on EWTN. Thankfully Mother Angelica held the line.
Mother Angelica… please assist us . and ask God to give us a Holy Man to lead His Church. A courageous man.
