Donald R. McClarey
Cradle Catholic. Active in the pro-life movement since 1973. Father of three, one in Heaven, and happily married for 43 years. Small town lawyer and amateur historian. Former president of the board of directors of the local crisis pregnancy center for a decade.
We need only look at the vast chasm between the how our leaders campaign and how they govern to know this is true.
Huxley was apparently an expert on human nature.

The elected officials are one thing. The UNELECTED people are the biggest threat to the rest of us. They never lose power. If they don’t win they undermine those who did. Much like the church. Bruised Optimist, Huxley attended Eton, where the Alphas and the Epsilons were sorted out in the time-honored manner of the English Public School.
It’s unfortunate that Huxley is mostly known for “Brave New World”. I well remember the shock I received in my twenties, when I read “Point Counterpoint” and realized that there is nothing new under the sun.
